Oh my goodness! Cindy, we had the craziest morning at the B&B! I woke up exhausted from not enough sleep. That was the first difficulty and from there it just got worse.
The quiche pan I used was new. It started leaking all of the eggs out from the bottom of the two piece pan when I moved it from the counter to the oven & dripped all over the oven before I noticed. We placed it on the pan you see above to prevent more leaking. Needless to say it didn’t work.
After I saw how low it had become I came up with the brilliant solution to make some more quiche & pour it over the half baked portion. Problem was, when I poured it on top, the pan was on a slanted rack in the oven & it began to go all over again over the edge of the pan.
We managed to end up with an AMAZING quiche and plenty of giggles while one of our guests got to be in on some of the hilarity of our morning in the kitchen! Good thing is he’s still returning next month and bringing his wife — maybe for the entertainment?
Thank you, Maya! I’ll never forget the giggles we had on this morning. I can’t believe that these pans will not hold a quiche! I guess they are more of a tart pan and that the crust must go up the sides completely. lol
@Natures_Pride I went to your site and all of the sudden felt calm. Started laughing cuz it was the birds in the background. Very cute. :) 12 hours ago
